Quantum Computing: Error Correction

One of the present difficulties in running quantum computing algorithms is the noise in physical quantum circuits, leading to inaccurate results.
At the expense of using more qubits, error-correcting codes offer a workaround, ensuring a guaranteed and correct outcome.
The poster shows how these methods can be implemented in practice, using available quantum computing platforms.
Fanel Donea works in the Modelling and Data team of Scientific Computing at CSIRO. His interests are mainly centred around computational modelling, simulations and computer science.
In the past, he worked as a PhD astrophysicist.
